Access to reliable broadband has been a challenge in rural Ohio for many years. Reliable, affordable connectivity is essential to economic opportunity, education, and healthcare across our communities.
To help improve access throughout the region, OMEGA conducted a broadband feasibility study with the Reid Consulting Group under the Connecting Appalachia initiative. OMEGA continues to lead regional broadband planning and convenes county stakeholder meetings to map gaps and position projects for state and federal broadband investment.
